Power of Love
We overcome our giants and obstacles not for this reason that we are too powerful in our own strength or efforts but it’s our personal relationship with God and his voice in our life. Knowing our identity is what brings the change that we want to see in our life or our environment. knowing who we are begins in our secret place seeking and dwelling in his presence, to allow him speak in to our heart that we are also his beloved as bible is very clear in Luke 3:22
“ And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”
The feeling of being seen or accepted, receiving affirmation and love that we need to fill up the gap in our soul is all we need. To know that we are known by God almighty and we are defined by our intimate relationship with the father through his son Jesus Christ and it’s what empowers us to overcome and gain victory through life challenges or even demonic obstacles we face in ministry. Again In Luke 10:17-20 says :
“And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”
The moment Jesus has commissioned his disciples to preach the gospel which they did successfully but yet Jesus points them back to the main thing which is rejoicing in that their name is known in heaven by father and written in the book of life. I believe also What makes the ministry of Paul significant and special is his love for the lord and knowing his love for him that empowers him and gives him grace to continue in the midst of suffering, hardship and obstacles.
