Waiting
As I was worshiping God and got still before him, something came up in my spirit which led me to immediately start to write. It was the heart of David and how important and life changing can be to wait upon God in awe and worship. One of the greatest pitfalls we experience is when we receive the God given assignment to do what he has called us to do. The reason I am saying that is when we are failing it either can lead us to blaming God or stop for a minute and get quiet before him to show us the areas in our hearts that need to be corrected. It’s important as you read it with a right heart that God in his mercy will love you through changing your path and make you ready for the world outside to receive the light of christ.
Wait on the lord; be of good courage, And he shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the lord. Psalm 27:14
Mantles or anointing upon us can lead us to function for what God has called us to do but as you wait on him in awe it will lead you to the person of the one who gave the assignment which is beyond all we can receive in this world.Waiting upon God will protect you from wrong ways and lead us to the path of life like a sheep going down to his green pastures of rest and gaining our strength and revelation of his goodness.
In a worship night, I explained about psalm 27 was written by David right before he was going to fight and yet this man of God chose to wait and make an altar for God almighty to worship him. He knew very well this very thing that he was the source of his life and victories.
