LOVE
Love wins the hardest heart in the earth. It’s not our efforts, power, or authority that changes the heart of men! But it's the power of love that penetrates right into the heart of most sinful people on the earth that wins, bring them right into the relationship with their father. The Bible tells us that three things remain: Faith,hope,love which is above all.
“And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8
“ And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him”. 1 John 4:16
Most of the time we look at how to overcome our life challenges or obstacles in ministry by searching for more access to power, authority or keys to gain victory! But we forget about the simple but most powerful door in front of us is Love or in another word to say the person of Love which is Jesus Christ.
Abiding in love protects us from the accusation of the enemy because Love covers us under the wings of father and hides us in the days of our trouble! But I do not mean that God is passive and cares not about our sins, No! but he is holy! True love leads us into the healthy fear of God as Jesus says if you love me you will obey my commandments. An unhealthy fear can lead you also into obeying which is not based on relationship but legalism or religion. Paul mentions how to overcome our bondages or fears through undrestanding our positions as beloved children of God.
“ For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15
Also Paul mentions to Timothy how to overcome his fears, ministry challenges of leadership by understanding what God has offered us through his spirit.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Ephesians 3:17-19
